And so it was decreed that every March, on the Autumnal Equinox (give or take a few weeks), they would wave their feeble arms in the air, standing proud and united in stretched lycra and collective mediocrity.

An inclusive introduction into off-road multisport. Compete as an individual part of a team of 2,3 or 4. Commencing with a 1km swim (Gellibrand River), 16km Mountain Bike, 5.7km river paddle and finishing with a challenging 7km trail run.

A whooping, howling 2.5km trail run awaits your young charges; mudpits, over logs, down slides, under tyres, over hay bales and even through a maze. Make sure you have the cameras ready for the many sprint finishes. Parents are encouraged to participate and get involved.

A wild swimming, dirty running rolling and rocking triathlon for kids that want to push their skills and endurance. 200m swim (river) 2km trail run and 4km Mountain Bike (some singletrack.) Just long enough to test the legs lungs and skills and let 'em loose in the wild..

No matter your grievance, it will be taken seriously and in confidence.
Our complaints department is located at Kangaroobie Klassic HQ. It is relatively easy to find. Make your way to the only building in the lower paddock (en-route to the aquatic start line) where you will be met at the door by our adjudicator.

Rest assured, they were by far the most qualified of all the applicants.

Scandal Rocks the Kangaroobie Klassic!
A throwback to that time when one of the "competitors" made a blatant attempt to bribe our incorruptible adjudicator.
The blur on the person in question is not an intentional attempt to protect their identity.
That, my friends, is a cloud of shame.
